Lois Jensen Obituary

Lois Elaine Littlewood Jensen 1923 ~ 2002   Lois Elaine Littlewood Jensen, passed away of natural causes at the age of 79. She was born July 13, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Leo and Ethel Nichols Littlewood. She married Shirley Owen Jensen April 8, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Lois held many positions in the LDS Church but her favorites were primary and visiting teacher. She worked in the Insurance industry for 30 years. She will be remembered for her tender heart and unconditional love. Her greatest gift was being a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and precious friend. Her grandchildren remember her as the best cook in the world. She shared a special relationship with her daughter-in-law, Kathie who spent many hours caring for her. Survivors include son, Robert (Kathie); daughters, Diane Jensen Hatch (Ron), Mary Marchant Jensen Dority (Jeff); grandchildren, Melanie, Pattie (Tyler), Tyler (fiancee, Shawnie), Ryan, Joei (Rob), Robby, Adam, Megan (fiancee, Kyle), Ben and Zach; great-granddaughter, Morgan Taylor; brother, Robert Littlewood (Geri). Also preceded in death by her husband, Shirley; son, Gary and parents.  Funeral services Monday, December 30th, 2002, 11 a.m. at the Rose Park Stake Center, 760 North 1200 West, Salt Lake City, where friends and family may call one hour prior to the services. Interment Redwood Memorial Estates. Funeral Directors Larkin Mortuary.
