Loran James (Jim) Clark
1930 ~ 2012
Loran James (Jim) Clark, known as "Doc" to his friends, passed away Sunday, Sept. 2nd, 2012 in St. George, UT.
A loving husband and caring father, he is survived by his wife Janet B. Clark, five children, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jim worked as a veterinarian for 30 years in Salt Lake City, UT and as a USDA Meat Inspector in Boise, ID. A Mason and Shriner, "Doc" was a fine horseman who rode with the mounted patrols of El Kalah in Salt Lake City, UT, and El Korah of Boise, Idaho. Jim will be missed by his family and friends. Happy trails to you, until we meet again.

When I first started roping doc was our neighbor in meridian Idaho. He loaned me his horse and this was my start in rodeoing through his kindness and his wife Jan, I have allot of good thoughts to remember him for.

Jan, my deepest sympathies to you and the rest of the family on Loren's (Jim) passing.
The Utah Veterinary Medical Association lost 3 of it's longtime, honorable members this summer, with the passing of Jim, Joe Tugaw, and David. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Respectfully, Lizbeth Denkers
