Lucille C. Ortiz, 81, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2015 at her home. She was born November 5, 1933 to Nisha and Wayne Christian. Lucille married her husband of 60 years, Tony Ortiz in January 1955. She is now at peace and no longer confined to her bed. She loved to cook and make homemade bread until diabetes disabled her for the past five years. Lucille is survived by her caring husband, Tony; daughters, Karen Anderson and Shirley McClarin; sons, Wayne (Doreen), David (Loriena), Jay (Ellen), and Phillip (Toni); 18 grandchilden, 15 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. She is preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; one sister; and her youngest son, Les.

Debbie Evans & Lisa Jones for the loving care they took taking care of her these last years.
Graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2015 at Grantsville City Cemetery, 400 W. Main. A viewing will be held Friday 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. Magna Main St. (2700 S.). Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
