Marci Dale Minson
1/29/1952 - 10/24/2016
Our beloved daughter and sister, Marci Dale, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 at age 64. Anyone who knew Marci knew what a unique blessing she was on this earth. Being a special needs child, she graduated from Skyline High School in the Special Ed Program, then later attended American Fork Training School where she learned skills to live on her own in a group home. Marci was able to contribute to society working at various jobs in her community.
Marci's favorite activities were watching Disney movies, eating out with friends, singing, dancing, and of course, socializing. Marci will be missed by all. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Teri Jensen, the TJI staff and social workers for all their assistance and support over the years.
Marci is survived by her father, Dale Minson; her brothers, Miles (Jen) Minson, Clark (Tara) Minson; her sister, Lori (Bruce ) Minson, Logan; her three nieces, Kimber Logan, Sarah Logan and Leilani Minson; and her nephew, Joey Minson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Pinecrest LDS Chapel; 2080 E. Pinecrest Lane, Sandy, Utah. Online condolences may be shared at www.jenkins-soffe.com

I write with a heavy heart. My sister and I would take Marci to lunch for her birthday every year. When I hadn't heard from her to plan our outing, I knew something must have happened. She always was so enjoyable to be with. She was such a ray of sunshine and so loving. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
I met Marci when she used to walk to the bus stop from Columbus. She would stop in my office to say "hi". We became friends from the start. When I found out she went to Skyline I told my sister who is around Marci's age and she remembered sweet Marci. From then on we would have a birthday lunch date. She will be truly missed. What a beautiful soul. Thank you for sharing her with us.

Minson Family, I remember Marci with such a joy in my heart. I am a Skyline High graduate and attended school with her. She always made my day because she had such a giant loving heart and a very contagious smile. I pray that your hearts will find peace at this difficult time.

Marci had a smile as big as life. She defined compassion, love and joy. When she asked "How are you," it was with true concern. She had a beautiful soul that blessed me because of knowing her. Dale Minson and family- We have many sweet memories of Marci. Up until just a short time ago she would call and ask about each member of our family and how we were each doing. So sincere and concerned if one of us weren't doing well. What a special spirit. Wish we heard of Marci's passing sooner to have been able to attend her memorial. We will never forget her. My sympathy to the Minson family at this time of loss. My memories of Marci in our ward growing up and at Skyline are of her pure outgoing spirit and love and acceptance of everyone. I wish I had her enthusiasm for life that emanated from her in everything she did.

Our condolences to the family. Marci brought a smile to our face and love to our heart.

Our fond memory is that of Marci ordering dessert prior to dinner. We can only hope there is Burnt Almond Fudge Ice Cream in heaven.

Marci was in our activities program at Columbus for many years. We will miss her dramatic flair, and her beautiful singing voice. She always had a compliment for the staff, and enjoyed visiting with her friends and staff. We will miss her, my deepest condolences to her family and room mates.
