Mark Grokett Obituary

Mark James Grokett 1917 ~ 2004  On June 15, our Father peacefully went back home.  Born to Eliza May and James Lafe Grokett on June 14, 1917. Married Fern, divorced, married Aphrodel, who preceded him in death.  Married Ilene also preceded him in death. One son James Mark preceded him in death. Survived by three daughters, Darlene Fletcher, Ellen Crowther (Mike), Judy Hardcastle and three stepdaughters; ninety grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great -grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.  Mark was a multi-talented musician and entertainer. He enjoyed entertaining his family most with his guitar and singing. He was an avid outdoorsman. He lived life to the fullest and did it his way. There will be family gathering at a later date to celebrate his life. Special thanks to all the staff of Draper Rehabilitation and Care Center and Rocky Mountain Hospice for their kind and diligent care giving.   Directors, Memorial Mortuary.

I am really going to miss you Grandpa!!!! You were the best ever!!! Thanks for being such a big part of my life. I love you, and I know that you are now enjoying being back with Grandma, see ya soon.
