Megan and I went to Prom together. I just found out today that she passed (I'm in Egypt it's hard to get news here). Her spirit and tenacity I always admired, along with her kindness and joie de vivre. My condolences to her wonderful family, I don't pretend to know the grief that you are experiencing, but know that I will always remember Megan and the wonderful person that she was. Perhaps now she can find peace after her long battle.

I dated Megan in high school. We were friends since and would check up from time to time. I found out tonight. She was a the only person that was as true to herself as she was in life. I can't understand what your family is going through, and for that I am so sorry and I wish you all the best in these hard times. She will be missed.

I am thinking of all of you and have been praying for Megan and your family. I am so grateful to have counted her as a close friend at MWC and beyond. She is truly beautiful inside and out, and I was so impressed with her attitude throughout this struggle. Truly the strongest person I know. I, as everyone must be, am deeply shaken by this, but know that she is comfortable and at peace where she is now, and that we will meet again one day. I regret that I cannot be there for the service, but I am thinking of her and everyone she has touched.

I knew Megan from our support group. She visited me in the hospital and in rehab and I appreciated her kindness. And, I loved her sassiness and spirit and will always remember that about her. I will miss her and will be praying for you, her family.
