Melvin J. Fibranz

Melvin J. Fibranz 1939 ~ 2004  FRANCIS - Melvin Jerome Fibranz, 65, passed away on Oct. 15, 2004 in a Salt Lake City Hospital. He was born on April 13, 1939 in Brawns Valley, MN the son of Otto and Edna Deyo Fibranz. He married Jane Page on June 8, 1987 in Woodland, Utah. She preceded him in death on Feb. 1, 2003. He was a member of the Lutheran church, the gun club and was a competition shooter. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter. Mel is survived by his mother, Edna, Wheaton, MN; son, Lance Fibranz, Sartell, MN; and daughters, Dawn Marie and Karin, stepdaughters, Julie Parson, Evanston, WY; and Janette P. Sweat, Santa Clarita, CA; step-son, Ronnie Gunn, Herriman, Utah; brothers, James Fibranz, Wheaton, MN; and Lyle Fibranz, Anchorage, Alaska. Funeral service on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Crandall Funeral Home in Kamas, Utah where friends may call one hour prior. Interment will follow in the Francis Cemetery.
