Nancy Jacquart Obituary

Nancy Jean LaFollette Jacquart 1957 ~ 2003  Nancy Jean LaFollette Jacquart, 46, of Pleasant Grove, formerly of Gunnison, passed away Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003 of causes incident to cancer.  She was born June 17, 1957 in Alhambra, California to Bill and Shirley LaFollette. She married Gregory Jacquart on March 24, 1978 in Provo, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.  Nancy grew up in California and later moved to Reno where she graduated from Reno High School in 1975. She moved to Utah where she met Greg and together raised their children. She worked as a Paraeducator at Gunnison Valley Middle School for ten years. Nancy was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many callings during her life. She loved to travel and experience new things and places. She will be remembered most for the love she had for her children and her openness to all the children in her neighborhood for advice, counsel, and love. She is survived by her husband Greg and children: Paul, Brigette, and Aaron of Pleasant Grove; parents: Bill and Shirley LaFollette, Bakersfield, CA; sisters: Diane Grose, Heber City and Karen Lanae Miller, Nampa, ID.  Funeral services will be held Friday, November 21, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gunnison Stake Center, 75 West Center Street, Gunnison. Friends may call at the church on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. Funeral directors - Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove.

I send my condolences. I went to high school with Nancy and was surprised to hear of her death. She was a beautiful young woman with a strong testimony of the gospel when I knew her. Again, you have my sincere sympathy.
