Shari, Jan & Roger,

I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the funeral for your wonderful, elect mother. I am away on business in Asia.

Your mother has been a beacon of what is good and correct. She has also been an example of the gospel of Jesus Christ in the wondrous way she has carried herself. We will miss her.

With gratitude for the opportunity to know her and all of you through her:

Warmest regards,

Darwin Peterson
