Olivia Huff Obituary

Olivia Houghton Huff Beloved Mother and Grandmother Emma Olivia Houghton Huff, age 90, passed away October 12, 2005 in Taylorsville, Utah. Olivia was born November 24, 1914 in Santaquin, Utah to Lyman Carter Houghton and Mary Ellen Lofgren. She married Reed Huff on September 11, 1942 in Ogden, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. She loved to travel with her husband and family. Olivia was a wonderful mother and wife. She loved being in the company of her grandchildren and enjoyed participating in their lives. She especially enjoyed the time spent this past year with her great grandchildren. Olivia is survived by her daughters, Joyce (Scott) Broschinsky and Debra Allen; sister-in-law, Reva Houghton; 6 grandchildren, Andrew (Carolyn) Broschinsky, Brandon (Clairesse) Broschinsky, Lucianne Broschinsky, Lauralee Broschinsky, Kaitlyn Broschinsky and Avette Allen; three great grandchildren, Tessa McCullough, Reed Scott Broschinsky and Adelaide Mahalya Broschinsky. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Verona (Reed) Gates and Leona Marie; brothers, Elmer (Elma), Dell (Twila), Arvil (LaRue) and Max Houghton, and son-in-law, Bob Allen. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 15, 2005 at 12:00 noon at the Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, 4335 West 4100 South. The family will receive friends at a viewing Saturday prior to the service from 10:45 until 11:45 a.m. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.

She is the last of the children of Lyman and Mary Houghton. I remember her and Uncle Reed at the dairy farm in Spanish Fork with lots of fond memories.
