Our sincerest condolences to you and your family. We were heartbroken to hear of Mr. Moore's passing. As you grieve, know that we are remembering you and the entire family while honoring his memory. The first time I met Mr. Moore, he introduced himself as "Mean Mr. Moore". He was the range master for archery at Cub Scout Day Camp. He got his bluff in early with those boys, but I could tell, he was not "Mean Mr. Moore" at all. Over the next several years, I got to know the Moore's a little better by helping out at various scouting events. Mr. Moore was such a devoted husband and father - a genuine family man. I cannot think of anyone more thoughtful and sweet than Lynette Moore. Our heartfelt prayers go out to your entire family. He will be missed, but you have been blessed. Don't ever forget that! Yours in scouting and in the faith.

Just got the news today Aug 13 of the loss of a great friend. Pat was a wonderful man that loved his family. Lynette, there are no words of comfort but you are in our hearts at this very moment, we would have been there if the distance was not so great. God be with you and your children in this difficult time.

Pat was one of the finest people I've ever met. I had the privilege of working with Pat when he took the BSA Scouter's Wood Badge course in 1994. His absence leaves a void that may never be filled.

August 11, 2011

Lynette, Jo Price and I were so very sadden to hear of the sudden and terrible loss you and your family have suffered. Pat was a loving, caring and kind person. There's just not enough good things to say about him. I'm sure he'll be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Our hearts go out to you all.

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Pat's passing. He was a great man and always very good to me. His visit to my home dressed as Santa Claus just a few months after my divorce will be a cherished memory forever - he brought a lot of joy that night to me and my two young boys. I'll miss him. And the Scouting, BYU and accounting communities will have a void without his presence.

Lynette & Family,

I was shocked and saddened to here of Pat's passing. The 5+ years we worked together Pat became a true friend, not just a coworker. I will miss his annual Santa's helper time of the year, and most of all the friendship and guidance he offered. Pat was truly one of the nicest, kindest, and most helpful people I ever met. If there is anything I can do for your or the family please let me know.

Lynette and Family:

I am a former High School classmate of Pat's, also now living in the greater Houston area. We attended Skyline HS in SLC, graduating from there in 1974. Through scouting here in Ft. Bend county I became reacquainted with Pat when I went through the BSALT training weekend. Pat also was the leader of my son Chris' Eagle Scout COH in 2003.

I was very saddened to learn of his death. Please accept the condolences of my entire family on his passing. He was a good man and will be sorely missed by everyone that knew him.

Lynette and Family,

Pat was such a kind man... I still expect him to walk in singing or telling one of his corny jokes. He was a great man to work for; patient, compassionate, and always willing to explain his logic. The world lost an asset in Scouting, swimming and Santa and my heart aches for you all.

To say I was shocked is an understatement, and our hall is a bit darker here at Jones & Carter. May God's grace sustain you until you are reunited again.

Lynette,
To say I was shocked at the news of Pat's death, is an understatement. I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through. I wanted you to know how sorry I am for your loss. My heart truly hurts for you.
I appreciate that Pat & you came to Mandy's wedding, Natalie's reception, & Megan's sealing. I especially appreciate that when you came out of Megan's sealing, you made a special effort to come & find me in the waiting room. That was a hard day for me. I think you both realized this, & that was your way of trying to show me that you cared.
Steve picked Pat to do his accounting, because he knew he was an honest & trustworthy man.
Pat will be sorely missed by others for many reasons. Some of these are his dedication to scouting, his wonderful singing voice, & at Christmas time for his portrayal of Santa Claus. BYU has lost their #1 fan, as well.
I enjoyed the trip we all made to New Orleans together.
It's hard to imagine the Mission Bend Ward without Pat. I remember when he used to count & he would carry his youngest child with him in his arms
when he did it.
I just wanted to share a few of my memories of Pat.
I noticed on his obituary, that Pat & I were born the same year.
I have been & will continue to pray for you & your family. I will pray that you may have peace & comfort at this diffucult time. I will also pray that God will be with you & bless you in the future with strength & courage as you face the diffucult task of carrying on without your beloved spouse & your children's father.
Sincerely, Carol Beck
