Pauline Root Obituary

1926 ~ 2013
On July 20, 2013, Pauline once again found peace after many struggles with her family by her side.
She is survived by brother, Armand Proulx; children, Diane and Steven; grandchildren, Stephanie, Christopher, and T. J.; and greatgrandson, Evan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and World War II veteran, Ray W. Root.
Pauline was born in Newton Falls, NY, on January 25, 1926 to Adrian and Melvina Proulx. She was passionate about the Utah Jazz and Denver Broncos and never missed a game. She would probably joke that she now has the best seat in the house.
Pauline requested no services or fanfare, and preferred to be remembered simply by giving thoughts and prayers. She was deeply spiritual and believed she was going back into the arms of God. Her motto was "It doesn't matter what the final score is in the game, give it everything you've got and you'll always end up winning.' Online condolences at www.jenkins-soffe.com.

She was my best friend and the only person I could truly trust and could always count on to be there for me and love me unconditionally. Since she past away life hasn't been the same. I'll always love her and she will always be my favorite person in this life and the next.

There are so many wonderful memories of your Mom that will be cherished forever. I am so very sorry for your loss. She was a Mom as well as a friend to me in all ways and you know I could go on and on about that! Loved all her stories and she touched so many lives. May all her memories and love you shared ease your pain and gently bring comfort to your heart. I know she was so very proud of you and will be watching down on us all. If you need anything.... Barbara

Dear Steve,
What a lovely lady your Mom was. I know her passing is very hard. Your love for her and the time you spent together, surely, were some of her most treasured experiences. Remember that your friends are here for you and your family.

I was fortunate to have met Pauline a few times. She was always positive and friendly and greeted me with a smile. I send my love to her son Steve and the rest of the family.
