Robert Adolphson Obituary

Robert Lee Adolphson "Our Precious One" Robert Lee Adolphson, 69, died November 2, 2006. Born December 28, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Burtill Gustave and Leaha Ivy Jamison Adolphson. Married Sherry Lynn Harrington May 3, 1958; later divorced. Survived by their five children, Robert Lee Jr. (Tami) Adolphson, Lisa Anne Adolphson, Angela Lynn Adolphson, Michelle Mary Yazzie and David Allen Adolphson. Then later married Mary Alice Kidd May 11, 1973 in Elko, Nevada. Mary survives Robert with her five children, Kimberly Hofeling, Richard Dean Hofeling, Steven Rae Hofeling, Terri Lynn (Greg) Smith and Thomas E. Jr. (Kim) Lynch; 22 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Dick (Pearl) Adolphson and Gary (Chris) Adolphson. He is preceded in death by parents and one sister. Robert served in the United States Army. He worked for Kennecott for 30 years and was the owner of A1 Distributing Small Automotive Accessories. After retirement Robert enjoyed small antique collecting. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Mountain View Christian Assembly Church, 8000 So. 300 E., Sandy, Utah. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 So. 2200 W., Riverton, Utah and Wednesday one hour prior at the church.
