1951 ~ 2013
Robert Lynn Pendleton passed away March 3, 2013. He was born June 29, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lamar Lynn and Ina Eskelson Pendleton. Robert married Martha Gotberg.
Robert retired from the Salt Lake County Fire Department after 30 years of service. He loved the outdoors, hunting fishing and spending time at their family cabin. Robert was an expert fly tier and spent many hours on the water fishing.
Robert is survived by his Wife, mother, Ina (Mel) Felts, children; Bobbi (Zaren) Adams, Kristy (Eric) Nichols, Tayne, Danielle Pendleton, Khristina (Bruce) Bills, Erik (Patricia) Gotberg, Annika (Justin) Boardman, Lena (Allen) Kerr, Kjel (LeShel) Gotberg, 32 grandchildren, sisters, Sherrie Pendleton, Denise (Brad) Olson. He was preceded in death by his father.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the care given by BMT Huntsman Hospital, Rocky Mountain Hospice and Rocky Mountain Care, especially Tobe, Pat, and Masa.
Funeral services will be 11 am, Saturday March 9, 2013 at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna. Visitations will be at the funeral home Friday, March 8, 2013 6-8 pm and 10-10:45 am Saturday. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park. Condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com

Bobbie, Kristy, Tayne, and Families,
We are so sorry to hear about Bob's passing, especially at such a young age. DeWayne has fond memories of growing up with Bob as cousins. Martha and Family: I will always have many good memories of Bob and you at many hunting and fishing trips, fireman event and almost everything else Larry did he included Bob and your family. I know how important their friendship was and I imagine they are having a good time together now. My prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Looking back at familly memories I cant think of many with out thinking of Bob. Hunting, fishing, landscaping, or learning how to drive. He would do anything to help. Martha and family, our prayers are with you.
