Ronald Argyle Obituary

Ronald C. Argyle 1931 ~ 2003  Ronald Charles Argyle, 71, of Spanish Fork, Utah passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2003.  He was born October 22, 1931 in Spanish Fork to Charles H. and Edna Holt Argyle. He married Lois Jean Sorenson on April 15, 1961 in Elko, Nevada. Ron attended schools in Spanish Fork. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was employed at Gridley Chevrolet in Spanish Fork, Utah National Guard CSMS in Salt Lake City, and Valley Asphalt in Spanish Fork. Ron enjoyed riding motorcycles, flying RC model airplanes, shooting, fishing, hunting, and traveling. He was member of the LDS Church. Ron is survived by his wife, Lois, of Spanish Fork; his children: Ronald Terry (Emma) Argyle of West Jordan; Connie Jean Argyle of Salt Lake City; Roger Kent (Shawna) Argyle of Lake Shore; six grandchildren: Susan Argyle, Christian Argyle, Aaron Argyle, Travis Argyle, Stephanie Argyle, Vincent Norman; and two brothers and one sister: Sterling H. (Helen) Argyle of Payson; Olive (Ralph) Clayson of Spanish Fork; and James E. (Vicky) Argyle of Rush Valley. Ron is also survived by a special pet dog, Harley.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Richard S. Argyle. Funeral services will be Friday, May 23, 2003 at 11 a.m. in the Salem 10th Ward Chapel, 695 South 300 West. Friends may call at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery with military honors.
