I never had the opportunity to meet Marvelle but I heard her name often from my mother, Thelma Arlt, who was her nursing school classmate and friend. Mom so appreciated Marvelle's visits during the few years she spent in assisted living prior to her death. She considered her a good friend. My condolences to your family.

My sweet Aunt Marvelle was a part of my life and I loved her. She was so energetic and was so personable to me as a child. Her life was important and service oriented. This was proven by the many people whom she served so well, and who love her. Her children can be proud of their heritage. Though she will be missed, she will never be forgotten. My dear cousins and family, as you celebrate her life, though there will be sorrow because she is not here with you, may you find great joy in the memories you share together. This is a special time for you all that will be a sweet experience that you will cherish throughout your lives. She will live on to share your happiness in life. That is what a loving mom does.

My Love to you all,
Gloria Jensen Lesher
