Ruth Simmons Obituary
1923 - 2012
South Jordan, UT-Ruth Marion Felt Simmons passed away August 7, 2012 in South Jordan, UT. She was born December 22, 1923 in National Mine, MI to Verner Spencer Felt and Ruth Anna Pearce. She married John K. Simmons December 19, 1942. Ruth retired from Smith's Food King with 20 years of service. Her favorite job was that of wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She leaves behind a great legacy.
She is survived by her sons Thomas (Rayna), John (Debbie) and Raymond (Bill), 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Ann, Carol, Pauline, Claire, Helen and brother Allan. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, her sister Christine and her brother Spencer.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012 at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church located at 2654 South Builders Way (5150 South), Taylorsville, UT. Visitation one hour prior to funeral service. Interment at Valley View Memorial Park.

Jackie, Tom, Ray & Their Families
We follow a pathway that has no end
as we travel through life day by day.
Together with those who are dear to our hearts and there by our side, come what may.
But sometimes a loved one must travel ahead for reasons that aren't always clear. And we're left behind to continue along, missing one who is no longer here.
While it may seem that the pathway has stopped, it merely has rounded a bend,
And our loved one goes on to a much brighter place down the pathway that has no end.
