West Jordan, UT-Scott Carl Wilde passed away on December 2, 2025, in Taylorville, Utah. He was born on June 22, 1945, to June Wright Calderwood Wilde and Carl Nix Wilde in Coalville, Utah. Scott grew up in Coalville and attended North Summit High School where he participated in many sports, including basketball, football, baseball and track. He also enjoyed playing trumpet in the school band.

Scott was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served in the North British Mission from 1964-1966 and served in many callings in the church over his life including as an ordinance worker in the Jordan River Temple.

Scott attended Utah State University graduating in 1970 and went on to attend Colorado State University graduating in 1974 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. It was a profession he dearly loved and he was able to practice for 47 years.

Scott loved playing the trumpet, reading, traveling and visiting with his family.

Scott married Linda Gayle Bailey (later divorced) in 1971, and they had six children (Andrea, Jeromy, Ian, Audra (deceased), Erin, Nathan) and four grandchildren (Dreyden, Will, Maria, Max). Scott met and was sealed for time and all eternity in the Jordan River Temple to Lizabeth Wallace Anderson his beloved eternal companion on June 4, 2021.

The Viewing will be held at the West Jordan River Stake Center, 1380 W 6785 S, West Jordan, UT on Saturday, December 13 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, with the funeral immediately following at that location. Dedication of the grave and internment will be at the West Jordan Cemetery after the funeral.
