I tried to send a card, but it was returned to me...hope this gets to SHannon's family. I met Shannon in an Osher class about two years ago. We discovered we were practically neighbors in Sugarhouse. We soon discovered things we had in common and enjoyed going to movies, eating out and generally just "gabbing" about many things. I so enjoyed her spirit and interest in life. She shared stories about her family and loved you all very much. I will miss her, but know she is now at peace and won't have to worry about the physical things that were nagging at her. My best to you all and may her memories bring you a smile and chuckle from time to time. I shall alwalys remember her with fondness.

I only met her on a few occasions, but I always found her to be gracious and kind. I will forever be grateful for the love and support she was to my mother, LeAnna Lund, during their lifelong friendship. My mother spoke of her so often that I felt I knew her very well also. I loved hearing stories of all of the crazy fun things they did growing up. What great memories they had! Shannon was especially supportive and loving to my mom these past couple of years as my mom went through severe trials. I am so sorry for the loss of this wonderful woman to your family. She will be greatly missed. She was truly loved. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Growing up in Manti and being good friends; I had not seen Shannon since we graduated in 1957 . On a beautiful Nov. day in 2013 ,she and a few other friend,s met for lunch. I know now that it was meant to be. She was the same vibrant, caring, interesting ,beautiful friend I had shared fun times with many year ago.
To her family; may our Father in Heaven give you love and peace as you treasure your memories of her.

I had the privilage of knowing Shannon and her two daughters as a surrogate family..It has been well over 38 yrs that my relationship with Shannon has perservered over many miles(she in Vegas and I in Massachusetts)..What a wonderful human being..So beautiful in many ways..She had worked so hard to provide a loving and nurturing atmosphere for her daughters..She will be missed physically but will always be present in my mind...Her essence is ever present in her daughters...God Bless.
