Shirley Goyen Obituary

Shirley E. Goyen "Never Forgotten" Shirley E. Goyen, 79, passed away on July 25, 2008 in West Valley City, Utah.She was born on February 3rd 1929 in Marquette, Michigan, to George A. and Lottie Krieger Burling. She graduated high school in Marquette. She married Lawrence Goyen August 19, 1950 also in Marquette. Shirley is survived by two sons; Ken (Debbie) and Randy (Tina); eight grandchildren, Tim (Breann) Goyen, Nathan, Douglas, Neal and Brad Goyen, Brant and Alex Weiche, also six great-grandchildren. A gathering will be held at Graveside Friday, August 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 So. A gathering will also be at their home afterwards. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Care Source (Hospice) or the American Cancer Society.
