Shirley Greenwood Obituary

Shirley Stevens Greenwood 1931 ~ 2003  Shirley Stevens Greenwood, 72, of American Fork, Utah, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2003.  She was born April 15, 1931 in Kanab, Utah to Howard and Camilla Stevens. She married Ray John Greenwood, July 15, 1950 in American Fork, Utah and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a member of the American Fork 27th Ward at the time of her death. She was active in the American Fork Lion's Club. She is survived by her husband of American Fork; three sons and one daughter, Michael Ray (Mary Jo) Greenwood, American Fork; Richard John (Terri) Greenwood, Parker, Colorado; Larry Stevens (Tammy) Greenwood, Maple Valley, Washington; Margaret Ann Dial, American Fork; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Funeral will be Thursday, October 23, 2003, 11 a.m., in the American Fork Hillcrest Stake Center, 165 N. 350 W. Friends may call at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 N., American Fork, Wed., 6-8 p.m. and Thurs. at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Burial in the American Fork Cemetery.

I was so sad to here about Shirley. I worked with her at BYU. She always made me laugh and I loved her jokes and stories. She was a classy lady!
