Stacy Struble Obituary

Stacy Lyman Struble  Stacy Lyman Struble was born  Nov. 11, 1915 in Three Forks, Montana to Stacy L. and Mary  Lajeunesse Struble. He was educated at the University of Montana and Montana State University. Stacy had a long career in cartographic engineering. He served in the A.A.A., Army Map Service of the Corporation of Engineers. He was the recipient of the Commendation for Meritorious Civilian Service from the War Department for his role in the war effort from 1941 through 1947. He and his business partner created Olympus Aerial Surveys in Salt Lake City, Utah. Stacy enjoyed his role as President and Sales Manager until his retirement in 1981. A resident of Sun City, AZ from 1990, he continued his hobbies of silver-smithing and collecting fine Indian artifacts and antique maps. He will be remembered by many for his role as mentor in encouraging individuals to reach their goals in the business world. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Helen; daughters, Anne Madrigal (Stevan), Salt Lake City, Utah; Therese Ellery (Jeffrey), Denver, Colorado; and granddaughters, Sarah and Kate Ellery, and Hillary and Olivia Madrigal. Stacy participated in Sun Health Research. Services will be held in Salt Lake City at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Sun Health Foundation/Hospice Care Services, P.O. Box 2015, Sun City, AZ, 85372.
