STEVEN HALL Obituary

Steven "Tarz" McCormick Hall 1941 ~ 2011 Steven "Tarz" McCormick Hall passed away March 1, 2011 in St. Paul, MN with his wife and friends by his side. He is survived by his wife and soul mate, Patricia Albers, daughter Shannon (John) Vergun-Rutchland, grandsons Michael and Christopher, brother Ken (Stevie) Hall, nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends. His parents preceded him in death. Steve was born in Salt Lake City on February 3, 1941 to Frances McCormick and W. Kenneth Hall. He grew up in Salt Lake City, and no matter where he ventured, Salt Lake City was his home. He moved to Minneapolis, MN in 1998. Steve enjoyed life to the fullest through his love of family, friends, music, motorcycles, golf and world travels. Steve never met a stranger. His love for life was felt by everyone he met, through his kindness, sense of humor, compassion and most of all his acceptance of people for who they were. Steve was a man of great riches as he had a loving family and a large circle of friends around the world. He made a difference in their life as well as they did in his. Steve continues to live on in the hearts and memories of all who were a part of his life, so he is always with us, a gift each one of us will forever cherish. Private interment.

To the friends and family of Steven Hall,
I was introduced to Steven by Paul Hunt many years ago. Though the time was short, it was always enjoyable. Monday Night Football in Paul's shop, daytime at KCPX, where Steve, Paul, and myself were employed, or the house on 9th East, meant fun and laughs for everyone...Needless to say, Steve was the mellow one...I would walk around the corner of the studio at Channel 4 and see Steve hard at work standing on his head doing his yoga exercises...need I say more?
Good Luck to all of you and may you find peace knowing what a great guy we all knew...
