Steven Padjen Obituary
Steven Ivan Padjen "Padj" passed away on September 18, 2017. He was born on October 7, 1954 in Salt Lake City, UT to Joseph and Katie Padjen. He was the oldest of 3 siblings and grew up in Midvale, Utah.
Steve attended Judge Memorial High School and graduated in 1972. He excelled at sports, which was one of the passions he passed down to his children. Steve married Nonie Nelson in 1977 where they had 2 boys but later divorced.
He is survived by his siblings Mike Padjen (Sue), Jody Padjen Hortin (Kirk), two sons DJ Padjen (Jeannette), Tony Padjen (Kelly), and the extended Padjen family. He struggled in his later years and we believe he is free from any suffering to be home with his family.
A graveside gathering will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Midvale City Cemetery, 471 W 6th Ave, Midvale, UT 84047 for all those who would like to attend. To share condolences online, please visit www.LarkinMortuary.com

Nonie, DJ and Tony,
I am will always remember the good times with Steve and your family, golf and barbecues at Glenmoor and then more golf, the camping trips early on that we went on, the trips to Jackson and Lake Powell on the houseboat, etc. etc.
I remember Steve always bragging on his boys and their success at Baseball, he was truly proud of them.
Thanks for the good memories, which were many.
