Thomas Street Obituary

Thomas Wayne Street 1940 ~ 2007 Thomas Wayne Street, age 66 of Lehi, died May 23, 2007, in American Fork, following a sudden illness. He was born September 24, 1940 in Lehi, UT, son of William Thomas and Alice Fox Street. Wayne worked as a truck driver at Kennecott Copper and retired after 34 years. He was a member of the LDS church and served as a building security specialist. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, and teasing his nieces and nephews. Wayne took care of his father and mother in their home all his life. They both preceded him in death. Survived by brothers and sisters, Ronald Street, Mt. Pleasant; Leland (Betty) Street and Stan (Cathy) Street, both of American Fork; LaVar (Dee) Street, Oregon; Zen (Beverly) Street, Arizona; Cleona Brown, Sandy; LaDean (Ken) Nerdin, Tooele; Lucille (Steven) Erickson and RaeVone (Mike) Butterfield, both of Cedar Fort; Marilyn (Ken) Earl, American Fork; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Fri., May 25, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 E. Main, Lehi, where friends and family may call Thursday from 6-8:00 p.m. and Friday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery.

Wayne was one of those people who just made you smile. It seems like no matter where we saw him people just liked him. I'm glad that he got to go home and be with Grandma, I know she was so happy to be with him again.
