Valerie K. Baker

Valerie K. Baker 1951 ~ 2008 Valerie K. Baker, 56, passed away on June 26, 2008 in Murray, Utah. She was born on November 14, 1951 in Payson, Utah to T. Clair Kendall and Helen Shorr. She married her loving sweetheart, Dennis L. Baker on September 19, 1969 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Valerie loved to entertain and was an excellent cook. She was loved by all of her many nieces and nephews, who looked forward to receiving dollar coins each Christmas and at family events. She is survived by her husband, Dennis L. Baker; siblings, Rod, Dianne and Gary. She is preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Kendall, and dad, Jerry Shorr. Graveside services for Valerie will be held on Monday, June 30, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
