Wallace Cameron Obituary

Wallace Bud Cameron  MAGNA - Our beloved husband,  father, grandfather, and brother, Wallace Bruce "Bud" Cameron passed away Nov. 11, 2002 in Magna. Born December 5, 1919 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Clifford D. and Elizabeth Dahlquist Cameron. He married Afton Blair Sept. 27, 1942 in Garfield, Utah.Bud served in the US Army Air Corp during World War II. He spent twenty years with Kennecott Copper, and then 25 years with Hercules Corp. where he worked on the Minuteman 1 & 2, Poseidon, Trident, and MX missile projects as a quality control inspector. He enjoyed hunting and camping with his sons, and singing with his church choir. Survived by his wife; sons, Bruce Blair and Guy Mitchell (Sheryl) Cameron; grandchildren, Sonja Dawn, Karl Chad, Andria Dianne, Jacob Daniel, Kimberley Michelle, and Samantha Nichole; brother, Edwin Clifford (Mitzy) Cameron; and brother-in-law, Robert "Scotty" Allan. Preceded in death by parents, and sister, Juanita Lorrine Allan. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna, where friends may call both Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
