Dorothy Elaine Allen entered into eternal peace on March 22, 2006 at 10:15 A.M. She leaves behind her children Karen Lynn Norris (Thomas) and Robert Earl Williams, her grandchildren Donavin Harkin (Kimberly) and Phillip Harkin, Jr., 'Mimi' is also survived by her great Grandchildren Chase and Ryan. Dorothy was born in Baltimore, MD., on Dec. 10, 1912 to Florence and Charles Boyer. Dorothy excelled in sports as a young woman, especially in swimming, winning many accolades. Dorothy bowled several 300 games. Her husband of 32 years, Captain Leo Elliot Allen shared his life on the water with her, owning and operating their marina in Ocean City, New Jersey. Dorothy's artistic flare was developed early in life, her landscapes, stills and many puzzles became part of the eclectic d 5/8cor of her son-in-laws restaurants, Tom's Ribs. Dorothy's Grandson, Phillip said 'I hope God has a huge puzzle up there in Heaven with a thousand little pieces'. The family will hold a private memorial service.
