Jodie R. Hyden, Jr. was born on March 16, 1948 in San Antonio, Texas and went to be with the Lord on November 6, 2006 in San Antonio, Texas. He was a 1966 graduate of Highlands High School and served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy. Jodie dedicated 35 years to the Communications Industry, where he was known as 'Tonka Man' and was active with the S.A. Livestock Show and Rodeo. His favorite hobby and past time was spent going four wheeling. Jodie was a loving father, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Jodie was preceded in death by his parents, Jodie R. Hyden, Sr. and Jewell Marie (Westerman) Hyden; and sister, Marsha Lynn Jackson. He is survived by his two sons, Michael J. and Shawn B. Hyden; and brother, Michael B. Hyden and wife, Bobbie SERVICES Graveside Services will be held on Monday-November 13, 2006 at 2:15 PM at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Veterans Association of America, 5535 Hempstead Way, Springfield, Virginia 22151-4094.
