Adela C. Martinez
September 19, 1929 - November 7, 2025
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let Your perpetual light shine upon her.
With profound love and cherished memories, we celebrate the life of Adela C. Martinez, born on September 19, 1929, in Floresville, Texas. Though her journey was touched by hardship and loss, Adela carried herself with quiet grace, kindness, and an unwavering spirit. Her greatest joy in life was her family-watching her daughters grow, loving them endlessly, and encouraging them through every season of life. Her love extended to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each one a precious gift to her heart.
Adela dedicated many years to caring for others, working at an assisted living facility where she was deeply respected for her compassion, gentleness, and selfless heart. Even after retirement, when she became a resident herself, her nurturing spirit never faded. She was known to comfort and befriend others, often telling her daughter how she wished she could do more to help the staff who cared for her. Her work ethic, humility, and kindness remained constant throughout her days.
Adela found peace and joy in life's simple pleasures-reading, crocheting, and solving word search puzzles.
Through her warmth, patience, and quiet strength, she touched countless lives and left a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
