I had the pleasure of knowing Captain Natoli for over 20 years. He was a cops cop. He always had a soft spot in his heart for the new officers. He gave them the knowledge and support they needed to suceed both as officers and as human beings. He cared about the profession and was proud of what we chose to do for a living. He was easy to get along with and would help you in any way he could. He was a notary and married my wife and I many years ago. Captain Al and I had alot of good times and we always stuck together during the tough times. I have many great stories about him that I will always remember. When I met him he was living just 3 houses down from where I now reside, so everytime I look at that house it will bring back fond memories of Captain Al. You were more than just a coworker, you were a true friend.

Rest in peace Al, you deserve it!!!

My Beloved Father:

You will always be in my heart. We have not always been close but I know that you loved me. This is so hard dad. Not only did I lose you but I lost mom on May 15th. The only comfort that I have is I truly believe you and mom are together again. You will always be in my heart dad. I love you

All of Captain Natoli's friends here at the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department are saddened to hear of his passing. We have very fond memories of him.

I am part of a group of young men and women who came to work in the city 24 or more years ago. We still revere and respect Captain Natoli as a father and mentor during the most crucial early development of our law enforcement career and, as a friend in our personal lives.

The invaluable advice he gave us stays with us even today. He taught us about the practical side of enforcement and arrests ensuring we had all the elements needed. I can still see him hovering at the back door of H.Q. which led to the jail cells, making sure we got in safely and watching over us helping us with the mounds of paperwork involved back then.

Much has changed today in our profession, but one thing remains the same. We will always need great men and great leaders like him to leave a lasting legacy for us and those that follow us in the future.
On a more personal note, he was great fun to be around. He loved to laugh and make us laugh as well. We will miss him.

I had the honor and pleasure of working for Capt. Natoli. He was my Lt. when I began my career with the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department. He had a great sense of humor and we looked forward to coming to work under his command. We played a lot of jokes and tricks on him which lead to years of great memories. He watched over us and protected us when things didn't go as planned. He recently visited before moving to Texas. We once again laughed and remembered old times and I must say, he hadn't changed. We didn't see much of him after he left the police department but the memories still remain. May God bless you and keep you from arguing about how the gates of heaven are not being secured properly. Until I see you again.
