Ah Slim. I can still see and hear you picking away in my memories. I know you're having a great time playing in heaven. I'll look forward to seeing you again once I get there too. With heartfelt sorrow and awesome memories I remember Slim once more.

God Speed, Hoss. It was great as a young teenager to have such great older Pickers to play with, learn from and look up to; You, Willie, Arkie, George Chambers, Shell, Bill Frazer, et al were so kind and generous and such great Musicians and People, even to a little squirt like me at the beginning of my Music career. I feel sure you are now in a place grander than we can even imagine. Play a schottische for them 7 Spanish angels. Adios Amigo; Fare Well.
