Amparo Cervantes Obituary
Amparo Cervantes born on September 5, 1917 in Nava Coahuila, Mexico entered into rest on January 1, 2014 at the age of 96 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elias Cervantes and son, Jose Luis Cervantes. She is survived by her daughters, Janie (Rafael) Mancha, Jovita (Art) Aranda; son, Guadalupe (Janie) Cervantes; daughter-in-law, Beatrice Cervantes; 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Alamo Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church with the interment to follow at San Fernando cemetery #2.
