Ana Maria Gomez, born February 26, 1931 of San Antonio returned to the Lord February 3, 2016. She was a successful beautician for over 40 years running her own business. She loved fashion and was very artistic, creative and giving. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Raul R. Gomez, her parents, Charles and Leonor Rocha, brothers, John Rocha and Leon Rocha. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Robert J. de la Fuente; son and daughter-in-law, Raul Jr. and Connie Gomez; five grandsons, Joshua A. Gomez DC and fiancé, Sara Todaro, Christopher Alvarez and wife, Nancy Alvarez, Adam Gomez and wife, Amanda Gomez, Andrew Alvarez, Nathan Gomez DC; great grandchildren, Remi Gomez and Jacob Alvarez; brother and sister-in-law, Carlos and Maria Rocha; brother, George Rocha; sister and brother-in-law, Elvira and Louis Navaira, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held Monday, February 22, 2016 at Our Lady of Grace Church. Rosary will be recited at 11am and Mass following at 11:30am. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery @ 1pm. Special thanks to VITAS Hospice Inpatient for all their care and kindness.
