Beatrice Reyes Obituary
In loving memory, Beatrice Vela Reyes, born June 21, 1942 embraced God on July 24, 2011, San Antonio, TX at the age of 69. She is survived by her daughter Betty Jean Reyes and sons Bacilio (Basil) Reyes, Jr. and Michael Anthony Reyes (Becky), grandchild Regina Belen Reyes, sister Janie Sepulveda (Joe) brothers Augustine Vela and Manuel Vela (Irma) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including Gracie Hernandez. Beatrice will be missed by everyone that knew her. Rosary and mass at 10am Friday, July 29, 2011 at St. Patrick's Church, 1114 Willow St, San Antonio, TX 78208. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to SA Parks & Recreation Commander's House Senior Center (645 S. Main St, SA, TX 78204). They contributed to her smiling again.

Momma, I miss you. I'm waiting for you to call me so we can go have dinner, chisme and talk about our days. It's so hard to believe that you're gone. I have to remind myself by looking at your picture. I know it's stupid, but I wear your socks to feel you. By the way, one has a hole in it. I'm not gonna fix it. I miss your smile and reganadas. It was your job. Now what am I gonna do? This is so hard to do. I know, you would have told me to think of something happy. Ok, You and Gracie acting like teenagers...that was funny. But she always made you laugh. I feel bad. It hurts too much to talk to or see anyone who was close to you. People say it gets easier. We'll see. I love you. I truly know how you felt when Wero was taken from you. I'm sorry you felt so bad. But now, I'm sure the two of you have found the casino with the best penny and dollar machines. Thank you, Mommy. Thank you for everything...everyday.

Ms. Bea was a very sweet lady, and was always very welcoming and warm to her children's friends. May God comfort her children with the wonderful memories of her blessed life. She is in His Glory and continues to shed her love from Heaven above. Rest in peace beautiful lady.
