Carlos Olvera born in Brownsville, Texas went to be with the Lord on June 13, 2015 at the age of 68. He is preceded in death by his first wife Maria Ana Rodriguez Olvera, parents Jose and Maria Olvera and siblings. Survivors include his wife Norma Olvera, children Maria Ofelia Olvera and spouse Kendra Olvera, Carlos Olvera Jr. and partner Shondra Gregory, Cristina Olvera Morales and fiancé Thomas Gonzales and Lidia Olvera Gonzales and spouse Jesus E. Gonzales III, sisters Perla Juarez and Socorro Limon, grandchildren, great grandchildren and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will begin on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South.
