Miss Spence was my Spanish teacher at Jefferson High School in San Antonio. She was a truly dedicated teacher and it showed in her enthusiasm in the class room.

I love Carolyn with all my heart. She was the best friend I could ever ask for. I have just today learned of her passing. She did so ,amy acts of kindness I could never recount them all. She came and sat with me and my daughter all dau long while had a spinal fusion surgery. Tanya would have been all alone in that hospital for eight hours had Carolyn not sat with her. Carolyn will always be in my heart.

It has been 50 years, but I remember "our Miss Spence" very well. It was a joy to have been in her Spanish class at TJHS. May she rest in eternal peace.
