Christopher Boyle Obituary

Christopher Joseph Boyle
November 11, 2025
Christopher Joseph Boyle, 75, of San Antonio, TX, passed away on November 11th after a long battle with cancer and Parkinson's Disease. Chris was an empathetic listener who approached all he met with non-judgmental kindness. His deep-rooted empathy led him to a career in social work at Texas CPS and later Child Advocates San Antonio. After he retired, Chris spent his time traveling with wife Robin Gara, sharing quality time with family, volunteering with TSEU, Texas Dems and in recent years returned to his interest in wood working. Chris was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Victor, his brother David and sister Dorothy. He is survived by his wife Robin, two children, Sarah and Emily, and his grandchild, Margaret (Maggie), as well as his siblings Michael, Vincent, Edward, and Irene (Celine). In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Lewy Body Dementia Association, or Planned Parenthood.

Yesterday

We met Chris and Robin when they moved in to
our community. They were a beautiful couple easy
to get to know them and so friendly . I enjoyed the
short time Chris was in the wood shop with us. A true craftsman in deed. Our condolences to Robin
and all the Boyle family. May he rest in Pease and
may the Lord Bless and comfort Robin in her loss.

What an incredible person to know and to be mentored by when we attended Saint Mary's University and worked together in the book store. Thank you for being a part of our wedding party 52 years ago. Rest in peace friend.
