It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Connie Wardlow, at the age of 80. Born in Sicily, Italy, she was a beacon of light and embodied unwavering strength.
She is survived by her two sons, Stephen Hughes and his wife Claudia Hughes; Michael Wardlow and his wife Krystal Centinello; eight grandchildren: Danielle Muscato, Tiffany Moss, Clayton Hughes, Javier Hughes, Connie Hughes, Kennedy Wardlow, Gianna Scime, and Allegra Scime; six great grandchildren: Enzo DeAnda, Ethan Muscato, Dillon Muscato, Rosabella Moss, Brylee Hughes, and Bentlee Hughes
She is also survived by her five siblings, Nina Russo-Sanchez and her husband Bill Sanchez, Joe Russo, Joena Vitale, Annette Deveaux and her husband Carl Deveaux, and Anthony Russo.
She had a remarkable talent for making all things look beautiful. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unforgettable memories. She will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A celebration of Connie's life will be held in the Spring of 2026 in Greenville, Texas.
