Darvil Middleton Obituary
December 6, 1935 - January 16, 2026
Darvil Lawrence Middleton was called home to be with the Lord on January 16, 2026 at the age of 90. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Shirley Anne (Holley) Middleton, mother Nora Marie Middleton and brother Bobby Middleton. He is survived by his daughters Cheryl Cooper (husband Mark) and Lori Jones, son Mark Middleton; grandchildren Sarah Rogers, Amber (Middleton) Barrett, Bryan Middleton, Sydney Cooper and Eric Jones (wife Briana); great grandchildren Jade Tharpe, David Tharpe and Logan Rogers. After serving in the US Navy from 1952-1956 he began teaching in the Industrial Arts Department at Burbank High School for 6 years, before relocating to Sam Houston High School where he continued his teaching career until his retirement in 1989.
He was loved by many and will be missed by all. May he Rest In Peace. Final resting place will be Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
