I didn't get to spend much time getting to know Debb, but the little time I spent with her I could see her loving spirit toward her family. You could tell by the expression on her face that she cherished every moment with them. Please know that I will be praying for God's comfort, grace and peace for all of Debb's family. Losing her is a source of great pain, but please remember that she is in the presence of of our Lord Jesus Christ and is now at peace. If I can help in any way, please contact me.

Debb, thanks for bringing so much happiness and laughter into our hearts. This is a day of remembrance of great memories and fun times. Your energy, spirit, and proactive outlook on life was contagious. You most certainly will be missed but not forgotten. Your loud, boisterous laugh would echo through the work area and provide a hearty uplift during a hard day at work. Those enchiladas you used to make for 'food day' at work were delicious. Good times, good times (as Nat would say)!!! Everybody at World Savings misses you. I, for one, am sad to see you leave at such a young age. But I know the Lord is watching over you now, and that is all that matters. God Bless!!

I had the pleasure of working with Debb at World Savings as a co-worker. I think back to all the good times we had with our teams and how we would chat in each other’s cubes all day. I’ll always remember all the potlucks and lunches we had together and Debb always cooked her little heart out the night before making several dishes. Debb was a great person with a big heart, I shared many great moments with her. You’ll be missed Debb!

Debb touched us all in different ways and at different times of our lives. We knew her as a peer, friend, manager, mother and all around good person. We shared laughs, family, sorrows and the many blessings life had to offer. She will be missed but never forgotten. She was courageous, optimistic and thankful until the very end. I had the distinct honor in having Debb Valdez as my manager while employed at World Savings. Not only was she the best manager I have ever had in my 16 years of working, she was an amazing woman to admire. Her heart was bigger than our blue skies and her smile was brighter than our sun.
