Della Jenschke

April 9, 1920 - May 18, 2015
On Monday, May 18, 2015, God called upon Della Mae Jenschke and the angels ascended from Heaven and lifted her up to Heaven where she was greeted by her long missed family and friends - no more pain, sorrow or suffering. She will have eternal life and happiness. She was born April 9, 1920 in Kerrville, Texas to Gus and Katie Wehmeyer. She married Lawrence John Jenschke on August 17, 1936. She loved to sew, garden and bake, especially in her early years with her favorite "Aunt Annie". She loved all her grandchildren - she sewed a lot of their clothes and baked many birthday cakes. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She has earned her space in Heaven and will be dearly missed. Della is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence John Jenschke; her parents, Gus and Katie Wehmeyer and her son, Larry James Jenschke. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Baker and Janelle Craighead (Don); grandchildren, Brenda Newell (Dennis), Jeff Baker, Rhonda Bodnar (Al), Gretchen Tullier (Todd), Julie Craighead, Jill Anthony (Shane) and Jenny Rawlinson (Lindsay); great-grandchildren, Cody and Clay Anthony, Lexi and Laney Anson, Lyle and Larson Rawlinson and Nicholas Newell. Special thanks are to be made to Seasons Hospice and all the staff at Stone Oak Care Center for all their loving and excellent care. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Porter Loring North.
