Donna Bechhold Obituary

Donna Bechhold
May 27, 1943 - October 14, 2023
Donna Rae Bechhold was born in Joplin Missouri on May 27, 1943. She passed into the loving arms of her Savior on October 14, 2023. Donna was a wonderful and devoted wife having married her childhood sweetheart and love of her life, Dennis Lee Bechhold. Donna loved the Lord and came to know him at an early age after seeing the artwork in Sunday school of Jesus welcoming the little children. She was steadfast in her faith, and her love for the Lord was evident to all who knew her. Donna was an expert homemaker and exemplary example for her four daughters, who were her pride and joy. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ann and Richard, her grandson, Jacob, and her daughter, Cynthia. She is survived by her husband Dennis and their three daughters, Michelle, Melissa, and Alicia, as well as her sons-in-law, Peter, Joe, Burt, and Frank. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Donna's passion and zest for life left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Despite her battle with Alzheimer's disease, she remembered well into her final days how much she loved her family, and she never missed an opportunity to remind them. Services will be held at Alamo Heights Methodist Church in the Garden Chapel on November 1, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Following her service, family and friends will gather at Ft. Sam Houston Cemetery where she will be laid to rest. Memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association San Antonio South Texas Chapter or The Gentiva Foundation.
