Dorothy Langmore Obituary
Dorothy Granberry Langmore passed away July 3, 2012 in San Antonio. She was the founder of Langmore Photography. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 24 at 3PM at Christ Episcopal Church. An obituary will follow at a later date. www.sunsetnorthfunerahome.com.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother. There are now two new and creative photographers in Heaven. My husband, Sherwood, passed away two months ago and he was a friend of your Mothers. Dear Marie and Langmore Family. I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother. Ellen had told me she was very ill. I have fond memories of our many early morning walks at the Alamo Heights High School track as well as a very memorable trip to the Coast. Please extend my condolences to the rest of the family.

My sincere condolence's, Dorothy was a one of a kind, the sweetest person you could ever meet and a great artist. Although it's been years since I worked with her. I learned a lot about portraiture from observing and printing her photos. She'll always be remembered through her work and through your continuing of the studio.

My thoughts and prayers go to all the Langmore family. Sorry to say that I didn't know Dorothy but recognize she was a trailblazer in the world of portrait photography, especially as a woman. I have watched Marie care so lovingly for her mother through a difficult illness. Now it's time to celebrate a life well lived! We love and support you Marie. Patricia

Dear Langmore family,I remember so well your talented mother. We had such a good time picking out the bridel portrait for Sally's wedding. It hangs proudly in my home. She also took some lovely pictures for my Christmas card and my Mother's requested family photo as a Christmas gift. She was a lovely person and of course so are her children. I do know Marie and Will are very special. Will met his wife at Sally's wedding, Elizabeth. Elizabeth and Marie have been lifelong friends since grade school. I don't know your other brother, but who can forget your beautiful Christmas cards. Thanks to you all for being a special part of our lives. I know how much you will miss your Mother.
