Our deepest sympathy to Homer, Dalma and the Zuniga family. We grew up with the Zuniga's off Wolf Rd./Plymouth. They were neighbors like family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Zuniga family. We can only imagine his reunion with his family gone before him. May God's perpetual light shine upon Cookie and through the mercy of God may he rest in peace.

Cookie was a very good friend and golfing partner, he always had a wonderful smile and always very friendly person with whoever I introduced him to. I will miss his friendship and I heart goes out to his family. Until we meet again my friend, hold a spot for Eddie when playing with the angels. I love this guy.

I have many memories of Cookie from when I was a little girl. My dad, Tom Valdez, used to take my brother TJ and me golfing just about every weekend, and Cookie was one of his best friends that we would hang out with on the golf course. He was always such a nice man! Sometimes he would buy me and TJ breakfast tacos or snacks at the golf course clubhouse (since my dad would drag us there at 5am). A couple of months ago I had breakfast with my dad and Cookie, and it was nice to see him again after so many years. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

I grew up in the same neighborhood with his family. Cookie was one of the nicest person I was glad to have known. He always had a beautiful smile when you greeted him. He will surely be missed. God needed another Angel. May the Perpetual light shine upon you!

Cookie, I was shocked when i heard of your passing. I remember the early Scrambler days when we had to get to the courses early Saturday mornings to get times. You were always a gentleman and constantly encourage us golfers that were not at your level. The friendships have lasted a lifetime.
Don’t miss you morning tee time with Tom Valdez Sr, Manuel Almanza and Joe Trujillo. Heaven has welcomed another Scrambler. We will meet again one day. Rest In Peace.

My condolences to Cookies family and friends - He was my good friend for 30+ years. He was one my best friends. We played alot of golf together every Saturday and sometimes during during the week. He loved to bet and he win or lose he was always cheerful. It was always a great time just being in his company. He will surely be missed by many. I will never forget the great times we shared and all of the fun we had with all of our friends. Thanks for being a part of my life.

Cookie was like a brother to me. Known him for thirty five plus years and we have some fun and memorable outings, which almost always included golf and eating out. We have shared many many friends who all liked and loved Cook. He knew a lot about my professional and personal life. At times he would give me his opinion of what I should and should not have done, which I valued. I surely will miss him. Now you get to enjoy life with your family that have gone before you. Rest In Peace my brother.
