Edward Eugene Guevara passed away peacefully with family by his side on May 3rd, 2021, he was 65. Edward was born on November 12,1955 to Irma and Frank Guevara in Crystal City, TX. Graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in San Antonio, TX and went on to serve in the United States Navy. He later joined the San Antonio Fire Department known as "Guero" where he would retire after serving his community for 30 years.
Edward had a strong passion for his Native American heritage and enjoyed sharing inspirational imagery on social media. Remembered for his laughter, selfless nature, love for his family, faithful Spurs fan, his beautiful Native American apparel where he inspired many to learn more of the Comanche and Apache cultures, and signature camouflage pants.
Survived by wife: Debra Married 30 years; mother: Irma; daughter: Vanessa; sons: Edward and Tristan stepson: Fernando; Siblings: Alma, Daniel, and Frank 8 Grandchildren & 7 Great Grandchildren
He is predeceased by his father: Frank; son: Eric; Sister Joann
