December 20, 1927 - October 2, 2025
Elden Douglas Stalnaker was born in Maud, Oklahoma on December 20, 1927. He moved to South Texas with his family and graduated from Three Rivers High School. After he graduated from High School, Elden moved to San Antonio. He stayed in San Antonio except for the time he joined the Air Force.
Some of his hobbies were oil painting and music. He studied music and sang with the Master Singers. He worked for furniture stores and became an Interior Design Decorator. He owned his own store called "Mr. Elden's Gallery of Interiors."
He always loved his church and reading his Bible. He became a Christian Science Practitioner. This is what he did up until the end of his life.
Elden is survived by his two sisters, Geraldine Montgomery and Beverly Moore; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
Elden will be laid to rest next to his parents during a private ceremony in Three Rivers, Texas.
