Elton Dunn Obituary
Elton S. Dunn, Jr. passed away on December 12, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on January 2, 1924 in Minden, LA, to Elton S. Dunn, Sr. and Grace Timmons. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jamie C. Dunn and great-grandson, Mathew Dunn. Elton is survived by his sons, Larry E. Dunn (Pamela) and Mark J. Dunn (Donna); sister, Norma Lee (Robert); grandchildren, Jason Dunn (Haylea), Jeremy Dunn (Patti), Courtney Riggar (Adam), Laura Chapman (Benjamin), Lisa Chandler; great-grandchildren, Thatcher Chapman, Mia Chapman, Chamberlain Chapman, Noelle Chapman, Finneas Riggar, Courtney Chandler, Kamrin Dunn, Kaylea Dunn and Kylie Dunn.
SERVICES
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 2:00pm at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park North, with Air Force Honors.

I met Mr. Dunn over the phone at the pharmacy he used to get his medication at. He was such a sweet and kind man. I can still remember his voice. I had never met him in person. Then one day he showed up at the pharmacy I remember this tall tall man walking in. I didn´t know who he was until I heard his voice! On the anniversary of Mr. Dunn´s passing I want to say I still remember you sir and seeing your picture on this page brought joy to my heart.

Larry and Mark, So very sorry to hear about your loss. Your mom and dad were the perfect example of how parents should be. In this troubled world, all children need the upbringing that you received. Being at church with you at Valley Hi, going out to eat afterwards, were always good times for me and I have never forgotten that. Natalie and I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Bro. Elton. He will be greatly missed. But we rejoice to know that he is at home in heaven with the LORD and his beloved wife Jamie. Elton taught me to pray often and have faith in Jesus Christ.
