Elva Alaniz Obituary
Elva L. Alaniz born on August 16, 1931 went to be with the Lord on April 8, 2015 at the age of 83. She is preceded in death by her husband Idolio Alaniz and her parents Augustine Paz and Carmen Quiroga Paz. She is survived by her loving family, daughter Sandra Yvonne Alaniz and partner Sandy Yamauchi, son Anthony Alfred Alaniz and spouse Michelle Hernandez Alaniz, sisters Emma Cude, Alma Paz, Dora Saldana, and granddaughter Makayla Michelle Alaniz. She graduated from Brackenridge High School, she worked Civil Service for many years for Kelly AFB. Elva loved spending time with her sisters and family, she loved baking with her granddaughter Makayla, she enjoyed crossword puzzles and Bingo. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South from 5PM to 9PM with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7PM. Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 13, 2015 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South at 11AM, followed by interment in Mission Burial Park South.
