Ernest Jean Mejia, born on November 11, 1992 was called home to be with our Lord on January 31, 2022 at the age of 29. Ernest is loved and will be greatly missed by his children, Kinsley Mejia and Kye Pacheco; his loving parents, Alex Olivarez Mejia and Diana Rosa Mejia; his siblings, Kimberly Marie McGowen (Kirk), Jennifer Ramos (Efren) and Alex Gallardo Mejia, Jr. (Hilory); nieces and nephews, Kameron, Kali McGowen, Kaylene, Elena, Peyton Ramos, Gia, Alex Mejia III; maternal grandmother, Maria Gallardo; paternal grandmother, Candelaria Mejia as well as numerous loving relatives and friends.
Ernest had a heart of gold. The love he had for his family will remain in their hearts for all eternity. He loved his daughter & son, would go out of his way to help you. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 3:30pm until 8:00pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6pm at Castillo Funeral Home. A procession will depart on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 9:15am for a 10:00am Mass St. John Berchmans Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
